Project Control Hub

Coming soon, from MemelburgLabs

Project management that works like a spreadsheet.

Keep the grid your team already likes: click, type, paste, drag, sort and filter. Underneath it is a real database with real rules, so you get data you can trust instead of "Programme_v7_FINAL.xlsx".

The Project Control Hub task grid showing ten tasks with status, owner, due date, priority and custom columns for vendor, risk and budget.

Demo data. The task grid in a project, with custom columns for vendor, risk and budget.

The problem

Almost every project starts in a spreadsheet, and then the spreadsheet starts working against you.

  • Nobody is sure which emailed copy is current.
  • Two people edit the same file and one person's updates disappear.
  • "Done", "done" and "complete" all mean the same thing until a filter gives the wrong answer.
  • You cannot see what changed since last week, or who changed it.

Dedicated project tools fix that, but entering 200 tasks means 200 forms, and soon someone is exporting to Excel "just to get it done". Project Control Hub keeps the spreadsheet speed and fixes what is underneath.

What it does

Working today in our development version. Not yet open for sign-ups.

A grid that keeps up with you
Type into any cell, paste blocks of rows from Excel, drag to fill date series, sort, filter and undo. Stays responsive at 5,000 tasks per project.
Structure without the admin
Status and priority come from fixed lists, dates are real dates and % complete stays between 0 and 100, so filters give the right answer.
Custom columns for your project
Add text, number, currency, date, dropdown, multi-select, checkbox, person or link columns straight from the grid, with no IT ticket.
Excel in, Excel out
Export to Excel or CSV and import it back: existing tasks are updated, not duplicated. Preview every change first, and undo a whole import in one click.
Teams and accounts
Invite colleagues by email. Projects can be archived and restored, and every save is protected against silent overwrites.
AI only if you want it
Planned: AI can suggest new records from a source you connect, and you accept each one yourself. It works fully without AI.
